Russian born pianist Daria Marshininia started having piano lessons at the age of three. Only two years later she was accepted to the Chopin Music school in Moscow. In 2004 she went on studying at the Gnessin Special Music School in Moscow with Marianna Shalitaeva und Jakob Katznelson. In 2007 Daria joined the class of Prof. Vera Nosina at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. The following year Daria moved to Germany to study with Prof. Michael Endres and Prof. Gabriele Kupfernagel at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Daria has recently graduated from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with the Masters of Music degree under the guidance of Prof. Anna Vinnitskaya. In October 2014 Daria Marshinina started her studies for the  “Konzertexamen” at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock with Professor Bernd Zack's class.


Daria made her solo debut with the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra orchestra at the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory at the age of ten. Since then she has been invited to perform as soloist with the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra in Moscow and the State orchestra of Klaipèda under the baton of Pavel Berman.


Daria Marshinina is a winner of numerous international awards and prizes including the second prize at the Dimitri Schostakowitsch youth piano competition in Moscow; the fourth prize at the  „Romantischer Stern“ competition in Kassel, the second prize at the Elise Meyer Foundation competition in Hamburg; the second prize at the Alfred Schnittke competition in Hamburg; and the second prize at the Rosario Marciano competition in Vienna.


Daria Marshinina has been awarded the prize for extraordinary musical achievements by the DAAD foundation. Daria has received scholarships from the Oscar and Vera Ritter foundation, the Anna Ruths foundation, the Alfred Töpfer foundation and the Otto Stöterau foundation.


Daria is an enthusiastic chamber musician. She had the privilege to receive tuition from such distinguished musiscians as Tanja Becker-Bender (Violine), Niklas Schmidt (Cello) and Lilya Zilberstein (Piano). In 2012 Daria has formed a piano duo „JUNG-KLASSISCH-KLAVIER“. Together with pianist Linda Leine they have been performing a wide range of repertoire for both duo and solo piano. Daria Marshinina has performed extensively throughout Europe both as soloist, chamber musician and German Lied accompanist. Her appearances include performances in Spain, Italy, Austria, France, Sweden, Andorra, Lithuania and Turkey.


During her studies Daria has taken part in masterclasses with Prof. Alexej Lubimov (Mozarteum Salzburg); Prof. Brigitte Engerer; Prof. Akiko Ebi (Paris Conservatoire); Prof. Konrad Elser (Musikhochschule Lübeck); Prof. Bernd Goetzke (HFMTM Hannover); Fou Ts'ong (Lake  ComoInternational Piano Academy) and Elisabeth Leonskaja.
